Glimpses is a sampler, a brief look into the larger upcoming RPG resource titled, "A Traveler's Tales" which is a collection of "Story Seeds". The collection includes a varitey of maps, location backstory, and possible encounters such as traps, monsters, and other things. The descriptions are generic story starters without any specific game mechanics. Whether you're playing Tunnels & Trolls, Classic D&D, GURPS, TWERPS, Risus, FUDGE, the d20 system, or any other system, you'll be able to plug these settings into your game. The settings are written from a Fantasy perspective, but will work in any setting where players might find an old map or an archaic tale...it's all up to you and your creativity! In real life I'm not much of a cook, but I do know that the best thing about any cookbook is the little stories that go with the recipes. These are what makes these books interesting even if you have no intention of ever making the dish on the page. While reading the scribblings on the wall at Trollhalla, I thought it would be cool to have a collection of all the quirky food and drink descriptions the trolls and other creatures were coming up with. This is the extremely rough draft to give people, and trolls, a feel for the silly project and hopefully to inspire more contributions in the form of recipes (real or imaginary, especially imaginary!), sketches, and little stories. Take a look, and send something back my way! All contributors will recieve a PDF copy of the finished project.

The date for the First Annual Tunnels & Trolls convention is set! Shippy, of Outlaw Press,and I have created a poster with an assortment of Fantasy Role Players around a very familiar map.
